Free is enough to try it out. Mistral does not publish exact message and search limits, so with daily use you will hit them sooner or later. Watch your privacy: on Free and Pro, Mistral may use your conversations to train its models. You can switch this off in the privacy settings, but you have to do it yourself.
Pro at $14.99 (€18.44 with Slovak VAT) is a sensible choice for one person who uses AI every day. For a company, Team at $24.99 per user is the better fit. It has the same limits as Pro but adds a shared workspace, access management and data export. Annual billing saves 20%.
- Mistral sells in euros or dollars only, not in Czech koruna. Prices with VAT depend on your country.
- Data is stored in the EU by default. It only goes to the US if you explicitly use the US API endpoint, and some features may temporarily pass data to subprocessors.
- The default model in Vibe is Mistral Medium 3.5.

FAQ
Is Le Chat the same as Mistral Vibe?
Yes. On 28 May 2026 Mistral renamed its Le Chat app to Vibe. Conversations, settings and subscriptions carried over, only the name changed. The mobile apps are still listed as “Le Chat by Mistral AI” in the app stores.
Is Mistral Vibe (Le Chat) free?
Yes, the Free plan costs nothing on the web and on mobile. It has a limited number of messages, searches and coding sessions, and Mistral does not publish the exact numbers. Pro at $14.99 a month gives you higher limits and more features.
Does Mistral use my conversations for training?
On Free and Pro, yes, until you turn it off. The switch is in the privacy settings. Enterprise customers are opted out automatically, and on Team, admins have company-wide controls.
Where does Mistral store data?
In the European Union by default. Data only goes to the US when a developer explicitly uses the US API endpoint. Some features may temporarily pass data to subprocessors that Mistral lists in its Trust Center. For European companies, this is one of the main advantages when it comes to GDPR.
